My mission is to respond creatively to my discoveries, then share my knowledge and skills via exhibitions, books, workshops, talks and demonstrations.
Explore
The natural world is a source of endless fascination. Nothing beats being out in the field making discoveries, and when you draw you have to look so closely you see so much more.

When I’m bubbling over with enthusiasm about what I’ve experienced, I want you to have the chance to feel the same way. That’s why I paint, teach and write – to communicate my excitement and encourage it in others.

Enlighten
Every day brings us opportunities for new discoveries. Whenever we see something wonderful, our first instinct is to share the experience, with a breathless "Look at that...."
Maybe it’s a different art technique, a newly discovered fact or perhaps a fresh understanding of the natural world. As I’m enlightened by what I experience, I aim to pass that on to you.

Encourage
