What inspired this painting?
A previous painting: Speckle Rust, Rust Circles I
A variation on the same theme as Speckle Rust, Rust Circles I. The first painting was such fun I decided to paint another. The two are not a triptych, but they work well together.
Again, it was the opportunity to use a variety of acrylic paint techniques to create varying textures that was so appealing.

Acrylic painting on canvas, with wood studs.
Size: 20 x 20cm (8 x 8 inches)
Panel is 38mm deep.
